What fine line is
Fine line work is built from thin, even lines instead of heavy shading: florals, botanicals, small symbols, delicate figures. The skill is consistency. A line that wavers or changes weight shows, and it shows more as it heals.
Linework, from fine to bold
Kevin works across the whole range of the line. Fine line florals and lilies at one end, bold traditional at the other: cobras, wolves, skulls in hats, heavy black that reads from across a room. Red ink sits in between, and it is striking on its own.
Where it sits best
Fine line loves places that move and curve: the ribs, the forearm, the collarbone, the thigh. Size still matters. Lines set too close together can blur over the years, so the design is sized to give every line room to breathe.
Keeping it crisp
